Assistant Professor- Medical Surgical; Nursing (Omaha Campus)
The College of Nursing is seeking tenure or non-tenure track faculty appointments for two 12- month, full-time, Medical-Surgical positions for its BSN program. These positions are for the College’s Omaha campus. The candidates must have experience in acute care medical-surgical settings. Responsibilities include the teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in adult medical-surgical settings, curriculum development, and academic advising. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations.
Candidates must possess at least a master’s degree in nursing and 2 years of clinical nursing experience in and adult acute care medical-surgical setting. An earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred. Ideally, candidates will have experience in classroom and simulation instruction and clinical supervision. Candidates must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.

Qualifications:
