Creighton’s Department of Education is hiring for a full time, non tenure-track Assistant Professor of Practice, to begin in the fall of 2022. Successful candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in School Counseling, and have experience with school counseling internships in public and Catholic schools, both elementary and secondary levels. This person will serve as Internship Coordinator and will provide advising to all school counseling students throughout their practicum and internships both directly and through supervision of the adjunct supervisors of interships. A Doctorate or Master's degree from an accredited college or university;
and have experience with school counseling internships in public and Catholic schools, both elementary and secondary levels.
2-4 years prior teaching experience;

Ability to foster student learning, development, and decision making in support of their goals, success, wellness, and needs;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly and effectively with a diversity of populations;
Empathy and compassion for the experiences of others;
Ability to provide evidence of excellent university-level teaching and/or significant publications
