The Director of Corporate Partnerships will manage all the corporate sales and partnership efforts for Creighton athletics. This position is responsible for developing new multi-year partnerships as well as renewing existing partnerships. This individual will cultivate client-direct relationships across top brands on a local, regional, and national level with a focus on maximizing revenue for the athletic department while also successfully bolstering the brand of the corporate partner by using traditional, digital, and non-traditional media opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all facets of the individual sale cycle including prospecting, researching/qualifying leads, securing face-to-face appointments, ideating sponsorship solutions tailored to prospect business goals, proposal development, presenting final proposal, negotiation, contract generation.
- Work cross-functionally with all departments to create comprehensive sponsorship proposals, while ensuring a high level of internal communication.
- Employ the latest prospecting tools, research data, and market knowledge to develop effective, brand-centric sales positioning.
- Understand prospective partner brands and their competitors to develop solution-based platforms to amplify partners’ brands and achieve their marketing objectives.
- Build, maintain and grow Creighton athletics’ relationships with partners, anticipating and resolving any issues that arise.
- Ensure partner generate maximum value from partnership and communicate value appropriately.
- Responsible for generating incremental revenue and growth opportunities with all accounts
- Meet and/or exceed sales expectations of new business revenue.
- Effective management of current staff: (1) graduate assistant
- Ability to potentially manage additional staff (i.e., account executive)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College/University.
- 5-7+ years in sales, marketing, account management and/or brand management .
- Ability to analyze a partner’s marketing/branding needs based on their marketing targets and objectives and craft an integrated solution to meet those needs.
- Proven track record of sales success and innovative sponsorship package development.
- Knowledge of sports and stadium sponsorships; including promotions, events, brands and media.
- Ability to always maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications:
Associate's Degree preferred;
6 years' administrative and/or office management experience;
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures/processes;
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written);
Customer service focus including the ability to assess inquiries and provide appropriate information or resolution using judgment and available resources, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality;
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;
Ability to be collaborative and work in a team environment;
