This position oversees all CPHHE program coordination, community education, administration management and liaison with community partners/members for the Center for Promoting Health and Health Equality (CPHHE). In addition, CPHHE Board meeting coordination and agenda, data entry, analysis and reporting, maintaining website and social media activities, creating brochures/ newsletters, organizing the Summer Research Institute (SRI), seminars, health disparities workshops and grant writing activities. The position also acts as primary coordinator in research, training, education and intervention programs for CPHHE.  

More specifically, details of role include:

20% Coordinates all activities in the Center for Promoting Health and Health Equality
20% Act as primary coordinator or assist in coordinating research, education and intervention programs.
20%Develop and maintain community relationships, communicate with community partners and members.
15%Assist in grant writing activities.
10%Maintain minutes and communications for all meetings and related activities.
10% Maintains and updates website, creates brochures and newsletters.
5% Performs data entry, runs reports, verifies the integrity of data and report issues.

This position is 100% grant funded.  

This position will work part time at 24 hours per week and benefit eligible (final hours dependent upon final candidate and needs to department).  
 

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred
2-4 year's related coordination of programs experience; 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Exel, Access, and Outlook)


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Prior working experience in health disparities arena preferred;
Experience with database management, data imports and CRM software preferred;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; 
Organizational skills and attention to detail required; 
Demonstrated customer service focus particularly with the minority community;
Ability to resolve conflict and handle demanding clients; 
Ability to think independently and analyze problems and reach solutions; 
Ability to working evening, weekend, and holiday work depending upon need
