Human Resources Assistant- TEST
Serves as first point of contact for University Human Resources. Creates a positive first impression of the University and assists people in a friendly and professional manner. Provides reception and administrative support to the entire department including the Director and Senior Management team. Coordinates new hire paperwork, I9 validation, tracks information for offsite storage, and assists with performance evaluation tracking and department mailings. Hours are 8AM to 4:30PM.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years office support experience with a minimum of 1 year human resources experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Desire to learn new tasks with increasing responsibilities.
Demonstrated customer service focus with excellent interpersonal/human relations skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and high attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to prepare word documents, mail merges, templates, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
